REGISTRAR:  January 18, 2009 Commencement

Commencement Exercises will be on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., The Sheraton Hotel and Towers, 301 E. North Water, Chicago. Immediately following the Exercises, there will be a reception for the faculty, graduates and their guests. The ceremony will last approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours. We suggest making dinner reservations for 6:30 pm in the city and accordingly in the suburbs.

GRADUATE INFORMATION:

• ORDER CAP AND GOWN OR DIPLOMA  (click here)

• TICKETS

  • Graduates do not need an admission ticket for the Exercises; however, tickets are required for guests. 

  • Each graduate will receive 6 tickets and may request 2 additional tickets at no cost
    – available in the Career Services Office (Room 405) from Dec 8 - Jan 16

  • Additional tickets may be purchased for $12.00 each
    – available in Student Accounts (Room 402) from Dec 8 - Jan 16

• GRADUATE RECEPTION: FRIDAY, JANUARY 16 

  • Cap & Gown Distribution & Graduate Photographs, 12:00 - 6:00 pm.
  • Caps & gowns will be provided to wear for the photograph.
  • After your picture has been taken, you may pick up your cap and gown.
  • Caps & gowns not picked up will be available at graduation.
  • Graduate Reception, 12:00 - 2:30 pm.  Family & friends welcome.

• COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY 

  • Sheraton Hotel and Towers, 301 E. North Water, Chicago, Illinois

  • 1:30 p.m. students report to Sheraton
  • 2:00 p.m. doors open for general seating 
  • 3:00 p.m., Commencement Exercises begin
  • Commencement procession will be in alphabetical order 
  • Before leaving the Sheraton, caps, gowns & hoods must be returned to the robing room.
