Library Collection Fact Sheet

The Louis L. Biro Law Library of The John Marshall Law School is located on Floors 6 through 10 in the East Building of the Law School. The collection is housed on five floors and two mezzanine floors. Over 45,000 square feet of library space provides 600 seats, including 250 study carrels. Floors 7M contains the core collection of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA). Floor 7 also contains two CBA computers for CBA members use only.

The Library currently contains over 380,000 volumes, including the equivalent of 145,000 volumes in microform. More than 32,000 titles are included. The Library also receives over 5,100 serial and periodical publications annually and has approximately 1800 audio-visual titles.
