GENERAL INFORMATION

The Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers is Chicago's premier downtown riverfront hotel, just off Michigan Avenue, and within a short walk of Navy Pier, museums, shopping and entertainment.  Parking is located in the underground garage within the hotel.  Additional parking is available in the surrounding area.  Access to the robing rooms for students and to the ballroom for the ceremony is direct from the garage by elevators. 

The ceremony takes place in the Sheraton Chicago Ballroom - Level 4.  If you enter through the main lobby, the ballroom is one level up.  Use the escalators at the south end of the lobby for easy access to the ballroom.

Following the ceremony is the reception held in the Ballroom Promenade, overlooking the Chicago River. 

The Robing Room for students is located on the 1st level - River Exhibition Hall "A".   We ask that guests do not enter the Robing Room to minimize congestion.  Students are asked to arrive by 1:45 p.m.  Guest's cooperation in staying away from the Robing Room is greatly appreciated.

The Robing Room for faculty is located on the 1st level - River Exhibition Hall "B".  Faculty are to report by 2:15 p.m. and check in with Event Management staff to obtain your line up number.

DOORS OPEN AT 2:00 p.m. for seating in the Ballroom. The ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m.

Signs will be placed in common areas at the escalator in the lobby to direct you to the ballroom and the robing rooms.
