JD/MBA with Benedictine University

Degree candidates interested in further developing business leadership can currently earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Benedictine University. Up to 10 John Marshall credits, to be counted as 16 quarter hours, from courses pre-designated by Benedictine University can be applied to the MBA program. Additionally, 16 quarter hours from Benedictine University’s MBA program can be applied as 9 elective credits to John Marshall’s JD program.

Degree candidates interested in the joint JD/MBA program must apply to each school separately. Upon acceptance to both schools, the degree candidate may begin the program at either school, though the first year of law courses must be taken at John Marshall. No MBA courses may be taken during the first year at John Marshall. Part-time students can attend classes simultaneously at Benedictine and John Marshall.

JD candidates interested in developing additional public or nonprofit leadership skills can concurrently earn a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Roosevelt University. Up to 9 John Marshall credits from courses pre-designated by Roosevelt can be applied to the MPA program. Additionally, 9 credits from Roosevelt University’s MPA program can be applied to John Marshall’s JD program provided that 1) the courses are approved by John Marshall for this purpose, 2) the courses are taken after enrolling at John Marshall, and 3) the courses are taken after the completion of the first year of study at John Marshall.

Degree candidates interested in the joint JD/MPA program must meet the admission requirements of both cooperating institutions.

JD candidates interested in developing developing business leadership can currently earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Xavier University Graham School of Management. Up to 12 John Marshall credits from courses pre-designated by Saint Xavier University can be applied to the MBA program. Additionally, 9 credits from Saint Xavier University’s MBA program can be applied to John Marshall’s JD program provided that 1) the courses are approved by John Marshall for this purpose, 2) the courses are taken after enrolling at John Marshall, and 3) the courses are taken after the completion of the first year of study at John Marshall.
