Scholarship | Presentations

Jamie A. Kleppetsch is an Assistant Professor and the Associate Director of the Academic Achievement Program. She provides academic support to students on study skills, exam skills, time management techniques, and prepares students for the bar exam. Before she became an Assistant Professor she was an Adjunct Professor at John Marshall.

Following law school, Kleppetsch was an Associate with Potratz & Hollander, P.C. in Chicago. She handled cases involving personal injury, property damage, commercial litigation, domestic issues, and estate planning.

Kleppetsch teaches Writing for the Practice of Law and Bar Essay Writing. Writing for the Practice of Law prepares students for practical writing in the practice of law and the Multistate Performance Test portion of the bar exam while exposing them to the areas of Illinois Civil Procedure that they will use most in the practice of law. Bar Essay Writing prepares students for writing answers to bar exam essay questions, while reviewing the legal concepts tested on the essay portions of the bar exam.
