JUDICIAL EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM (1-4)

Students selected to participate in the judicial externship program work in chambers with a state or federal judge and assist the judge in the resolution of disputes. Each student works in a capacity similar to a judicial law clerk and is monitored and evaluated by the faculty member in charge of the program as well as by the judge for whom the particular student works. The educational objectives of the course include legal problem solving, legal research and writing, professional responsibility, and legal process.
